About this file
This document is a comprehensive project manual for the Polvadera Fire Station project, issued by Socorro County in New Mexico. The project involves constructing a new 5,000 square foot fire station facility with mixed use occupancy (B and S1), utilizing type V-B non-sprinkled construction. The comprehensive project scope includes earthwork, site utilities, site paving, concrete foundations, installation of a pre-engineered metal building structure and skin (provided by the owner), thermal insulation, hollow metal windows and doors, an aluminum storefront entry door, light gage framing, interior finishes, residential appliances and kitchen equipment, plumbing systems, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and telecommunications and security electronic systems.
The project is set to be bid on November 7th, 2018, with a pre-bid meeting scheduled for October 30th, 2018. The bid requires a 5% bid security, and the project has a target completion timeline of 120 calendar days for Line Item One (initial construction phase) and 180 calendar days for the entire project. Liquidated damages are set at $300 per consecutive calendar day for delays. The contract will be awarded through a single prime contract, with the County reserving the right to reject any and all bids. Funding for the project appears to be through Socorro County, with specific budget details not explicitly disclosed in the document. Contractors must comply with New Mexico state regulations, including public works minimum wage requirements and contractor registration provisions.

The failure of a Bidder to list a registration number or provide a copy of its active “Certificate of Public Works Registration” as proof of the required registration will deem the bid non-responsive and the bid will be rejected.
p. 4.6.12 - All tiers of subcontractors shall be subject to the requirements of 13-4-13.1.
Bidders are required to list their subcontractors’ registration number on the Subcontractors’
