The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issues this notice related to the Tactical Communications II (TacCom II) re-compete requirement to:
· Provide the TACCOM II Request for Proposal (RFP) Documents
· Address substantial changes to the second Draft RFP
· Communicate a TACCOM II Source Selection Timeline
· Note to Industry
TACCOM II RFP
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issues this RFP to establish a multi-agency contract (MAC) vehicle for commercially available, tactical communication equipment and services (TacCom), under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
· Questions in response to this RFP must be received by or before Friday, September 8, 2017 at 16:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time
· Proposals must be received by or before Friday, September 22, 2017, 16:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time See RFP for all instructions TACCOM II RFP Changes The Government has marked substantial changes in red, however the Offeror must fully review the RFP. The Government is not responsible if the Offeror missed an aspect of the RFP that changes and affects its proposal. All responsibility is on the Offeror to review ALL aspects of the RFP, including attachments. Notable changes are identified as follows:
· Allow for state/local past performance references
· Add information regarding DHS Mentor-Protégé Program
· Update TC2 Services subcategories
TACCOM II SOURCE SELECTION TIMELINE
DHS is still targeting a November, 2017 timeframe to issue awards. Changes, if any, will be communicated to Industry as appropriate.
