About this file

This document is a revised 10-4-17 Instrument Name Photo that details the inventory and status of various instruments and equipment located on temporary towers for a state and local contract opportunity. The towers contain a variety of items including TCC Internet dishes, Hazecams, Belfort Aerovanes, NWS 420 Anemometers, Contacting Anemometers, Davis Wind Speed/Direction sensors, and an Audubon Radio Repeater. The document provides information on the current location, status, size, weight, wind load, energy requirements, and needed cables for each item. It also indicates whether the items are active and will be reinstalled, or if they are offline and will be stored or salvaged.

The document does not include pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements and sources, or other salient business information. It appears to be an inventory and status list for the temporary tower instrumentation and equipment related to this state and local contract opportunity.

The wind speed and direction transmitters are individual units with separate mounting supports for each sensor. The wind speed is connected directly by two wires to a separate speed indicator within the

Observ. The wind direction transmitter has five conductors going to it. Two conductors going to the direction vane are from a 115 VAC input/12vdc output transformer located apart from the wind tower. The three remaining wires going to the wind direction transmitter are from terminals on the wind direction meter in the Observ.
