All blocks must have an average 28-day compressive strength of no less than 4,000 psi, air entrainment between 5.5 and 8.5 percent by volume, and maintain strict dimensional tolerances. The County reserves the right to inspect and sample concrete cylinders during manufacture and may refuse stock units in favor of units cast specifically for the project. The successful respondent must maintain Worker's Compensation and Employer's Liability Insurance with limits of not less than $1,000,000; General Liability Insurance with $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate; Automobile Liability Insurance with $1,000,000 combined single limit; and may supplement coverage with Umbrella Liability Insurance.
