About this file
This is a Pricing Proposal Form for the County of Sussex, New Jersey, soliciting unit prices for the supply of large modular blocks for gravity retaining walls on an as-needed basis. The procurement requires bidders to submit pricing for sixteen line items encompassing various block types and sizes, including base blocks (24B, 39B, 60B, 66B, 72B), reversible corner blocks, middle blocks in multiple configurations (24M, 39M, 60M, 66M, 24H), freestanding blocks (FM, FME, FMFE), and cap stones (SCAP, ECAP). Estimated quantities range from 4 units for Base Block 24B to 582 units for Middle Block 39M, with a total of 1,872 blocks across all line items. Bidders must submit unit prices and extended prices for all items to be eligible for award, with selection based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid calculated from total extended price. The contract term is twelve months with an option for the County to renew for a second twelve-month period.
Unit prices must be fully inclusive of all costs, including manufacturing, handling, transportation, delivery to the project site, and incidental expenses. Prices shall remain firm during the initial twelve-month contract term; any price adjustment request for the renewal period is limited to the lesser of three percent or the Consumer Price Index (CPI-U) increase for the preceding twelve months and must be submitted in writing at least sixty days prior to contract expiration. The estimated quantities listed are projections only, with no minimum purchase guarantee; actual quantities will be determined by the County based on approved shop drawings, delivery tickets, and acceptance by the County Engineer or Assistant County Engineer. Final quantities and payment shall be based solely on actual orders and accepted deliveries.
