About this file

This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Washington County School District in Utah for a Child Nutrition Kitchen Sanitation System and Training Service. The District seeks a vendor to provide sanitation solutions and associated training services for the Student Nutrition Department, with preference given to vendors with K-12 and school lunch program experience. The RFP was released on April 21, 2026, with proposals due by May 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time to Mark Hoss, Purchasing Director, at the District's office in St. George, Utah. The initial contract will be for one year with options to renew annually for up to five additional years, contingent upon District satisfaction with vendor performance and submission of documented price increase proposals. Proposals must be submitted in both original hard copy and electronic format via removable USB storage device; faxed or emailed submissions will not be accepted.

The cost proposal must be submitted separately from the technical proposal to allow independent evaluation and should clearly identify implementation fees, first-year costs, and any additional fees. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and make awards in its best interest. Either party may terminate the contract with 30 days written notice, and the contract may be cancelled if the vendor fails to deliver on time or meet requirements. All inquiries must be submitted electronically through the original Bidnet posting, and vendors are responsible for acknowledging all addenda issued during the procurement process.
