About this file
This is a Protected Information Request Form issued by the City of West Jordan, Utah, for a Carnival Services contract opportunity. The form serves as a template for vendors responding to the City's request for proposals from qualified amusement companies seeking to provide carnival services for the Western Stampede event, an annual Fourth of July holiday weekend celebration. The form instructs vendors to identify and clearly describe any specific information for which they claim business confidentiality protection under Utah's Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA). Vendors must list protected sections in detail; blanket claims of confidentiality without adequate specification will result in the City declining protection designation and potentially classifying the entire proposal as a public record at the City's sole discretion.
The form does not contain specific details regarding pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, set-asides, response deadlines, or funding sources. The City reserves the right to reject any non-compliant submissions that fail to meet GRAMA requirements. Vendors are expected to be in good standing and demonstrate experience providing high-quality carnival operations and family entertainment. This form functions as a procedural document to facilitate proper handling of confidential business information submitted with proposals rather than as a specification or scope of work document.
