About this file

The document is a Bid Table (Pricing Response) spreadsheet for Charlotte Water, detailing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for dewatering and cleaning of Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Digesters located in North Carolina. The project involves comprehensive services for dewatering process tanks, including mobilization, onsite dewatering operations, equipment management, transportation, and disposal of sludge/residuals. The estimated project scope includes 200 dry tons of dewatering and 1,200 wet tons of transportation and disposal, with pricing structured across four primary line items: general conditions, mobilization, labor for dewatering operations, and transportation/disposal costs.

The pricing structure requires bidders to provide all-inclusive costs in United States dollars, with a payment basis that includes a lump sum for general conditions and a percentage-based completion schedule featuring 5% retainage until final project completion. The bid table allows for unit pricing per dry and wet ton, with unit prices to be determined by the bidding company. The total proposal price will be calculated by summing the costs across the four specified line items, reflecting a comprehensive approach to capturing all potential project expenses. The contract appears designed to address critical infrastructure maintenance by removing accumulated trash and grit from digesters, which can negatively impact equipment performance and environmental stabilization processes.
