About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details FEMA's requirements for Transportable Temporary Housing Unit (TTHU) Furniture, Fixtures, Appliances and Equipment (FFAE). The specific requirement is for five (5) ROLL-IN Showers to be delivered to the FEMA Manufactured Housing Storage Site in Cumberland, MD within two weeks of the delivery order award. The contractor must provide new, unused items that meet fire and safety standards, remain in original factory packaging, and comply with bio-preferred and Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines.
Delivery and tracking requirements are stringent, including providing email notice of shipping with a bill of lading and estimated delivery date, using various shipping methods (dedicated load, less than load, or package carrier), and delivering items on pallets. The contractor must provide detailed electronic tracking spreadsheets and coordinate delivery windows with the site point of contact. If items are damaged, the contractor has 72 hours to repair or replace them at their own expense. Government inspection and acceptance will follow Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) standards, with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) making final order acceptance.
