About this file
This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the replacement of Eaton-brand Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems at eight FSSC support sites across Virginia, Texas, and Puerto Rico. The contractor shall supply all labor, material, and equipment necessary to remove and replace the existing UPS systems, reconnect to existing electrical and battery infrastructure, and provide training on the new UPS systems. The RFQ specifies the existing UPS models and configurations to be replaced at each site, as well as the required deliverables such as acceptance testing, manuals, and drawings. Quotes are due by September 13, 2024, and the government intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order on the basis of initial quotes. The RFQ states that only Eaton-brand equipment will be accepted, and the contractor must be an authorized Eaton reseller to be eligible for award.
