About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the State of Utah in collaboration with NASPO ValuePoint regarding a potential resolicitation for Office Furniture and Related Services to serve all participating states and US territories for the period 2027-2032. The RFI seeks supplier feedback on six primary product categories: Office Seating and Accessories; Lounge and Public Seating and Accessories; Desks and Tables and Accessories; Panel Systems and Accessories; Storage and Accessories; and Architectural Products and Accessories. Responses were due by 3:00 PM MST on June 11, 2026, submitted through U3P (the Utah Public Procurement Place). The RFI is informal in nature and does not constitute a commitment to issue a future RFP; responses will not be evaluated for contract awards but may inform industry research and development of future competitive solicitations. Non-response does not preclude participation in any subsequent RFP if issued.

The RFI requests supplier input on multiple aspects including category consolidation or expansion, value-added services, product warranties (specifically 10-year warranties including color fastness and textiles), complimentary versus fee-based services, scope of work considerations, competitive impact of restrictive requirements, tariff implications, and any additional issues warranting consideration. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a procurement process or binding contract opportunity. Responding companies must provide their company name, company representative information, phone number, and email address with their submission.
