About this file

This is a bid proposal workbook for the City of Fort Worth, Texas, related to the Sewer Improvements project to serve Alpha Ranch Master Infrastructure (City Project No. 105879). The project encompasses approximately 24,191 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe installation across multiple diameters, ranging from 30 inches down to 12 inches, along with associated infrastructure components including manholes, casings, abandonment plugs, utility markers, and inspection services. The work scope includes 30-inch sewer pipe (2,692 LF), 27-inch sewer pipe (2,208 LF), 24-inch sewer pipe (389 LF), 21-inch sewer pipe (1,113 LF), 18-inch sewer pipe (4,345 LF), 15-inch sewer pipe (4,387 LF), and 12-inch sewer pipe (1,692 LF), with additional quantities for various pipe types with different backfill specifications. The workbook requires bidders to complete unit price bids for 45 line items across the sanitary sewer improvements unit, with completion expected within a specified number of calendar days after contract commencement.

Bidders must comply with multiple submission requirements including completion of a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire or certification that one is current on file with the City Secretary's Office, submission of a bid bond in an amount equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, and compliance with Texas Government Code Chapter 2252 regarding nonresident bidder requirements. All bidders must identify prequalified contractors and subcontractors for sewer improvement work types and provide documentation of current prequalification status. The bid proposal workbook provides specification section references for each line item and requires bidders to enter unit prices for all items; the total construction bid amount will be calculated based on the unit prices multiplied by bid quantities. This is a unit price contract format typical of municipal public works projects in Texas.
