About this file

The document is an Anti-Human Trafficking Affidavit for Broward County, Florida, related to a ship-to-shore crane power cable replacement project at Port Everglades. The solicitation requires vendors to submit an affidavit confirming they do not use coerced labor, with the form to be completed and returned within three business days of award, renewal, or extension of a contract. The project scope involves furnishing labor, materials, equipment, and services to replace 5KV power cables on two specific container cranes (SP3 and SP7) at the port, with electronic submissions required through the BPRO procurement platform.

The solicitation emphasizes the Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD) requirements, which include procurement preferences for Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and County Business Enterprises (CBE). Vendors are strongly encouraged to submit all documents, including optional items, to facilitate a comprehensive review. The procurement process requires electronic submission with a submission receipt, and vendors experiencing technical difficulties are advised to contact support immediately. Questions and clarifications must be submitted through BPRO by a specified due date, with responses posted in the platform's Messages section.
