About this file
This document is a Price Increase Percentages form from the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) Procurement division, associated with Solicitation No. BPM004292. The document is available online at https://appstate.az.gov/ and was revised in December 2020.
The document outlines the maximum price increase percentages that an offeror may request during contract renewal periods for a specific contract, likely related to maintenance and hosting annual fees. The renewal periods allow for progressively increasing price adjustments: 10% in the first renewal, 20% in the second, 30% in the third, and 40% in the fourth renewal period. Each percentage increase is calculated against the original contract price, and ADOT emphasizes that price increases are not automatically granted. The offeror must provide documentation justifying the need for any price increase at the time of renewal. An example table demonstrates how these incremental increases would be calculated using a hypothetical original contract price.

2nd Renewal Period: 20% maximum increase*
3rd Renewal Period: 30% maximum increase*
4th Renewal Period: 40% maximum increase*

The offeror is cautioned that each renewal period’s increase percentage shall be computed against the ORIGINAL contract price. If information is not provided in the space above, prices shall remain the same as the original contract term. Please see the following example for further clarification.
Example: If the offeror anticipates requesting a 2% increase at each renewal period per Special Terms and Conditions, they should enter 2%, 4%, 6%, and 8% in the attachment. Each percentage increase is calculated using the original contract price. See example in table below.
