The addendum, issued on August 21, 2025, includes minutes from a mandatory pre-bid meeting held on August 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the project location at 801 Pass-A-Grille Way. The project involves rebuilding a bait shack that sustained 3-4 feet of flooding and currently has no floor, with the city requiring pilings to be checked and the floor replaced to ensure the building is safe to reenter. Key dates include questions due by 10:00 AM on September 10, 2025, sealed bids due by 9:00 AM on September 17, 2025, and bid opening at 10:00 AM on September 17, 2025. During the pre-bid meeting, staff clarified that a performance bond is not required for this project, but a bid bond is required. The building supplies power to the dock, and the city confirmed they are not interested in adding solar panels at this time. The scope is strictly limited to the bait shack and does not extend to the dock. City staff indicated they will provide additional information via addendum regarding base flood elevation and elevation certificates, as well as power supply details to the dock. Eight companies attended the pre-bid meeting and signed in, including general contractors and specialized construction firms.
