About this file
This is a Required Bid Price Schedule Attachment A document for the City of Tallahassee, Florida, soliciting bids for the furnishing, delivery, and pumping of bulk liquid aluminum sulfate. The contract requires bidders to submit pricing for three line items: Aluminum Sulfate, Liquid for the first, second, and third years, each with an estimated quantity of 900 dry tons. The contract is structured as a three-year requirements contract with optional renewal periods for years four and five, which are subject to the City's sole discretion and require negotiation and approval. Bidders must be able to bid on all items specified in the solicitation, and failure to inspect the delivery sites and equipment prior to submission will not relieve the successful bidder from performing according to specifications.
All pricing must be submitted on a per dry ton basis and shall represent the complete cost, including delivery on an F.O.B. Plant basis for items designated as "on City Trucks." The contractor must include all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, transportation, handling, and applicable assessments and fees in the quoted price. Bidders must certify that prices have been determined independently and without consultation with competitors, and the City is exempt from Florida excise taxes on materials incorporated into finished improvements but not exempt from sales tax on materials and services. The contract is contingent upon the availability of funds, and in the event of an error in extended pricing, the unit cost will prevail. Optional renewal terms for years four and five are not automatic and all pricing, scope, and terms for optional years must be subject to negotiation and City approval.
