About this file

This is a Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items (Standard Form 1449) issued by the American Embassy in Mbabane, Eswatini, seeking preventive maintenance services for the Consular Audiovisual (AV) System. The contract covers maintenance for intercom, paging, and display systems, with a base period of one year and four optional one-year extension periods. The solicitation (RFQ Number 19WZ6025Q00005) requires semi-annual inspections of the AV system head-end and teller windows, along with on-demand service calls for emergency repairs.

The contract is a firm fixed-price type with pricing to be submitted in local currency. Contractors must provide trained technicians to perform routine maintenance inspections, test system components, clean equipment, and check for any damages. Key requirements include maintaining system functionality, providing comprehensive reports after each inspection, and offering remote technical support. The evaluation will consider the contractor's technical capabilities, experience with similar AV systems, and ability to meet the embassy's operational needs, with non-price factors weighted more significantly than price.
