Solicitation No. 19TH2026Q0001 Tactical Training Equipment and Accessories

Questions and Answers

Q 1: “Can we submit based on CIF Bangkok with Embassy being the consignee” A: As specified in the solicitation, the items must be delivered at the U.S. Despatch Agent in Kent, Washington, United States of America with Door-to-Door – Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) term.

Q 2: “Do you accept Chinese origins” A: The country of origin of the proposed product is unrestricted.

Q 3: “Can we submit partial offer” A: Incomplete proposal/offer will not be accepted.

Q 4: “Will the Embassy be able to provide a VAT and customs duty exemption certificate (tax-exempt import clearance) for the equipment (virtual weapons and accessories) imported into Thailand under this requirement?”

A: As specified in the solicitation, the items must be delivered to the U.S. Despatch Agent in Kent, Washington, United States of America. The delivery terms are Door-to-Door – Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). Please note that the Government will not issue a customs duty exemption certificate for this purchase.

Concerning Value Added Tax (VAT), the VAT exemption certificate will be issued exclusively to the Contractor registered under Thai Revenue Laws.

Q 5: “Will the Embassy require operator or maintenance training for its personnel once the equipment is delivered, or is this expected to be supply (and installation) only?”

A: Operator or maintenance training service is not required. The items will be delivered without any installation.

Q 6: “Would there be a potential to have the delivery deadline pushed to 90 days?”

A: The Contractor shall deliver all items no later than 120 days after the date of contract award.
