QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q 1. Penalty for supplier -- Penalty for janitorial service not meet USG standard or in case, cleaners on site are sick. For example we assign 2 cleaners on site, but one of them was sick at that day. We replace new cleaner from other zone but in the next day. Do you have any penalty?
A. USG requested clarity on the original question and received it on Sep. 6, 2019. The solicitation in Section 1, paragraph 7: Insurance – requires the contractor to provide whatever insurance is legally necessary. See paragraph 11: Quality Assurance and Surveillance Plan (QASP) item 11.2 Standard and refer to FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items.
Q 2. Term of payment A. After the Embassy receives an invoice from a contractor, it will be processed within 30 days and the money will be transferred into the contractor’s bank account per the Prompt Payment Act. Refer to Section 2 Addendum to Contract Clauses FAR52.232-25 and DOSAR 652.232-70 Payment schedule and Invoice submission.
Q 3. Termination of contract. How many days before termination?
A. Any terminations of the contract shall be in accordance with FAR 52.212-4 (l) and (m).
