The document addresses 18 questions submitted by interested quoters regarding the solicitation. Quotations are due at 17:00 local time on April 22, 2026. Key clarifications include: grocery shopping may be conducted by the cook with an official driver during working hours if a marine security guard is unavailable; pricing applies to serving 7 Marine Security Guards (MSGs) as specified in the Scope of Work section; insurance requirements and kitchen staff English language proficiency are addressed in referenced solicitation sections; holidays are observed with paid leave per clause 652.237-72; and security certification applies only to personnel assigned to perform services under the contract, with allowances for substitute candidates if original nominees withdraw. Additional details clarify that special events include holidays, Thanksgiving, Easter, Christmas, New Year's, welcome/farewell gatherings, and sporting events such as the Super Bowl, during which cooks may prepare meals for small gatherings. The projected timeline from proposal submission to contract award and effective date is approximately two months, though this may vary depending on evaluation processes and administrative procedures. Regarding payment methods, Fintech accounts like Revolut Mexico require verification with the Financial Management Office for compatibility with the government's payment system, and a traditional bank account is recommended as a backup option. A solicitation amendment will be shared by April 14, 2026. All responses reference specific sections of the solicitation document for detailed guidance on insurance, personnel security, management and supervision, menu planning, and cleanliness requirements.
