About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) for RFQ 19MX5325Q0028, detailing questions and answers from a site visit and pre-proposal conference for a tents and flooring rental project at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. The RFI covers critical project details including work dates (June 16-24, 2025), personnel requirements (minimum 3 workers onsite), equipment specifications, and logistical arrangements. Key clarifications include confirmation of exterior tent removal on the event day, approval of raised access flooring instead of plywood modules, and specification of water tank requirements (4 x 2,500-liter empty tanks).
Significant technical details address safety procedures, electrical connections, staging areas, and tent configuration. The embassy confirmed that permits for sidewalk and driveway closure will be handled by embassy personnel, and provided guidance on flooring color options (blue-grey, black, or natural wood). Some work statement items (Items #16 and #17) were eliminated from the solicitation. The document emphasizes flexibility, with many confirmations noted as "not limited" to the specific details discussed, indicating potential for adjustments during the project implementation.
