About this file
This document is an Amendment (0002) to a Request for Quotations (RFQ) No. 19JA8025Q0007 for Roof Insulation Installation Services at the U.S. Embassy Housing Compound in Tokyo, Japan. The amendment extends the submission deadline from March 26, 2025, to April 16, 2025, and modifies key contract performance requirements, specifically the project completion timeline and unit work schedule.
The key changes include extending the total project completion time from 60 calendar days to 365 days, with specific provisions for working on apartment units. Contractors must now complete the entire project within 365 days after the Notice to Proceed, with the ability to work on multiple units simultaneously. Each apartment unit must be started within 14 calendar days of notification and completed within 15 working days, with a maximum of four units being worked on concurrently. Quoters are required to submit a cost breakdown and may optionally submit a revised Volume 2 - Price based on the amendment.
