About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for RFQ No. 19JA8025Q0006 issued by the U.S. Embassy Tokyo for the acquisition of computers for their Public Affairs Section. The document addresses 18 questions from potential vendors regarding technical specifications and requirements.

Key details from the Q&A include: The computers must meet specific requirements including Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-14500 (14C/2.6GHz/24M) processor (no AMD alternatives allowed), integrated graphics are acceptable, and the HP 320M mouse is required (alternatives not accepted). There is no TAA compliance requirement. Multiple vendors inquired about warranty terms and on-site repair services at the Embassy (located at 1-10-5 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan), with responses directing vendors to Amendment A001 of document 19JA8023Q0016. While HP models are mentioned in the solicitation, most detailed specifications and requirements, including monitor requirements, warranty terms, and delivery dates, are contained in Amendment A001 which vendors are repeatedly directed to consult.
