About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum for RFP 19GT5025R0006 for Exterior Cleaning Services at the US Embassy in Guatemala. The Q&A clarifies multiple details about the cleaning scope, including specific areas to be cleaned such as low walls, handrails, planter edges, fountains, the MSGR basketball court, and Consular Arrival Plaza steps. Key clarifications include that vertical surfaces are not part of this project, rainwater grates are excluded, and the elevator area of the parking building is not included in the cleaning scope.

Additional important details from the Q&A include requirements for equipment and personnel, such as operators needing certification for floor scrubber machines, the contractor being responsible for providing diesel fuel (which cannot be brought inside the compound), and storage space being provided for materials and equipment. Deep cleaning can be performed Monday through Friday, with specific areas in the Parking Building to be cleaned on weekends. The document also provides a link to the Safety and Health Requirements Manual EM 385-1-1 and notes a free digital app version is available for iOS and Android devices.
