Marketing & Communications Department

Guidelines for the correct usage of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural

Center name

• When mentioned in any and all communication materials, please use the full name: apart from exceptional cases and after consultation for final approval.

• Please note that the organization s name is not Stavros Niarchos Foundation

(SNF); this is a different entity, not to be confused with Stavros Niarchos

Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).

• Prior to publicizing any communication materials, said material must be submitted to the SNFCC Marketing & Communications department for final approval.

• This commercial partnership scheme does not include the co-located cultural organizations, namely the National Library of Greece and the Greek National

Opera. Consequently, there can be no mention of these two organizations. In addition, all communication materials should mention rental areas by name and not accompanied by the cultural organization where they are housed; e.g. Stavros

Niarchos Hall at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center and NOT

Stavros Niarchos Hall of the Greek National Opera at the Stavros Niarchos

Foundation Cultural Center.

Particularly for artistic events, there must be no connection (indirect or direct mention) to the institutions of the National Library of Greece and the Greek

National Opera, and this applies to all communication materials, such as press releases, media interviews of artists, social media accounts and websites.

• Our logo may not be used, since the event is not organized by the SNFCC.

• In the event SNFCC photographic material is requested, it shall be provided upon consultation with the Marketing & Communications department of the SNFCC, and relevant photo & copyright credits shall be retained.

• For any reproduction of communication materials on social media platforms, only the official accounts of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center shall be used on all applications, such as geolocation tag, mention, caption & hashtag. The official

(or non-official) accounts of the co-located entities, namely the Greek National

Opera and the National Library of Greece, may not be used or mentioned.
