19GE5024R0060_00001 questions and answers

1. Q: Could you kindly confirm whether any bonds are required for this opportunity?

A: Bonds are not required.

2. Q: Do you have existing Fiber at the facility and can you share who the current provider or incumbent is.

A: Yes, we do have existing Fiber Optic cables for active DIA circuits. The current service provider is Cyberia – Middle East Internet Company.

3. Q: The number of CLINs speeds/ranges on this RFQ does not necessarily reflect practical price savings. Will the government consider reducing the speeds to more usual industry standards? 10, 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 & 1000 Mbps?

A: The requesting office requires the bandwidth ranges as per RFQ.

4. Q: Will the contracting entity be the RPSO in Frankfurt Germany? Please confirm as this has an impact on our offering. Can we assume the issuing and contracting DoS authority will be the RPSO in Germany vs Main State in Washington DC, and not the local embassy mission in Saudi Arabia?

A: The Contracting Office issuing this contract will be the Regional Procurement Support Office at the US Consulate General Frankfurt. This contract shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the substantive laws of the United States of America.

5. Q: Will the RPSO consider a 3 week extension? There are quite a bit of speed requirements in this case and we assume that only one speed will be actually ordered.

A: Proposal due date has been extended with this amendment.

6. Q: Kindly confirm that, you need one circuit each for the three locations in Riyadh – Jeddah and Dhahran.

A: Each location might require more than one circuit during the contract Period-Of- Performance.

7. Q: Kindly provide exact coordinates for Dhahran site in order to check for fiber availability.

A: US Consulate General Dhahran - 26.320950919093598, 50.18337514672381
