Duty Belts for the Armenian Police Patrol (APP) 19GE5021Q0057
U.S. Embassy INL/Armenia, Yerevan Amendment 0001 dated July 22, 2021
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS (Q&A)
RPSO received the following three (3) questions (Q) and is hereby providing the following answers (A):
1)
(Q) Would there be an option for us to ship everything to IKUN or one of the other US
Embassy freight forward locations? Otherwise, a license would be required from the federal government before the handcuffs and batons could ship internationally.
In addition, an international agency profile form would need to be completed and approved before shipping. Lastly, there may not be a way around shipping flashlights and oc spray direct to the international address.
Let us know should there be a freight forwarder address option or IKUN that we could use
A lot of the manufacturers for these products have export restrictions in place that do not allow direct shipments outside of the U.S. Shipping to IKUN or another freight forwarder state side instead would help in those instances as well.
(A) Air-Freight delivery F.O.B destination to U.S. Embassy Yerevan, Armenia requirement remains unchanged.
2)
(Q) Would you accept Chinese origin?
(A) Offerors shall propose brand-name or equal products in accordance with WTO GPA (see
FAR Subpart 25.4 Trade Agreements) and provide a copy of the provision at FAR 52.225-6
Trade Agreements Certificate with their offer.
3)
(Q) Will you kindly provide a picture of the 2 following items:
• 4.2.3 BALLISTIC WEAVE NYLON POLICE HANDCUFF CASE (BRAND-NAME
OR EQUAL)
• 4.2.8 POLYCARBONATE POLICE BATON HOLSTER (BRAND-NAME OR
EQUAL)
(A) Pictures cannot be provided.
NOTE for the Baton Holder: Offerors need to make sure the baton holder fits the baton quoted. If it does not fit the baton, it will be useless.
