About this file

This Standard Form 30 (SF-30) Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract updates the existing solicitation 19FR6325Q0031 for moving services at the U.S. Embassy Chief of Mission residence in Paris, France. The amendment, dated July 18, 2025, modifies multiple sections of the original Request for Quote (RFQ), including updates to the Scope of Work, specification of marble and mirror dimensions requiring crate storage, and provisions for asset-specific handling instructions.

Key modifications include providing detailed specifications for handling various assets such as paintings, engravings, silverware, and a fragile giltwood sofa, with requirements for individual packing, protection, and transfer of items. The amendment also stipulates that the contractor will move items to a climate-controlled storage facility within one hour of Paris, with U.S. Embassy Cultural Heritage staff present during the process. The storage period is anticipated to be 9-12 months, with provisions for up to 5 site visits by Embassy staff and optional additions or removals of items during storage. The contract will be awarded on a fixed-price basis to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror.
