QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (Q& A)

1/ We understood that this contract shall be for on-going passenger transportation support. For events, such as D-Day, Olympic games etc., we understood it would be separate contracts. Will those separate contracts be based on the prices from this contract?

This contract shall support on-going passenger transportation for the U.S. Embassy. This may include small to medium visits support. The Olympic games may enter in this category depending on the scope and number of passengers requiring transportation, which are unknown at this point.

A separate contract shall be issued in case of large scale visits. The size of the visit and the location shall determine if a separate contract with appropriate pricing is required.

2/ Can you confirm the management fees for the drivers coordination shall be included in the rates?

Yes, each rate shall include all costs and fees necessary to perform the work as required in the contract as mentioned in seciont B.3.3 of the RFP. This shall include but not be limited to all managerial costs, administrative costs, vehicles, drivers, driver’s meal expenses and insurance, communication equipment, and all vehicle operation expenses, including but not limited to fuel, oil, all other maintenance and insurance of such vehicles, profit.

3/ Cancellation of task orders. Can you confirm if task orders cancellation policy during an event is different than the “regular” cancellation policy?

No. This RFP covers all the recurring needs of passenger transportation required by the U.S. Embassy. This include transfers for diplomats but also support for small to medium visits. Conditions of cancellation of task orders cited in section G.5 of the RFP shall apply to the entirety of the contract.
