About this file
This document is an Amendment (Amendment 0004) to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Health Insurance Services issued by the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The amendment makes several key updates: (1) includes a notice about System for Award Management (SAM) representations, (2) updates the Minimum and Maximum Amounts clause to specify monthly order requirements ranging from insurance premiums for one to five hundred Locally Employed Staff, (3) reduces medical liability insurance amounts from USD $5,290,000 and EUR 5,083,690 to EUR 180,000, and (4) updates the Annual Representations and Certifications provision to the January 2025 version with February 2025 deviation.
The solicitation (19BK8025R0001) seeks health insurance services for Locally Employed Staff and their dependents, with a base year and potential four one-year option periods. The contract will be a fixed-price with economic price adjustment, and the Government may award based on initial offers without discussions. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the place of performance is the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The amendment is effective March 17, 2025, and modifies the original solicitation to provide updated terms and clarifications for potential offerors.
