Sierpe Camp Construction
# Questions Answers
#1 Is it possible that you can provide us the Soil Study carried out for the project design, in order to know the water table at the construction site, in order to make an adequate work schedule and budget for the work?
R/ Please see attached.
#2 To obtain the construction permit from the municipality, the amount corresponding to the work risk policy must be paid in advance. Should this payment be made and contemplated within the value of the work? Or must the declaration of the contract be made before the INS?
Or only use the occupational risk policy for the workers during the work?
R/ No permits are needed just the Gas Line registration acording to national regulation is required.
#3 What is the approximate time period between Notice of Approval and Notice to Proceed? R/30 days
#4 Special Warranties H38 is different from the Bond Requirement? R/Yes. See solicitation section H.38 for detail.
#5
If our payroll does not exceed $150,000, is a recruitment plan required?
R/according to the solicitation provision "On contracts exceeding $150,000 where performance will require the recruitment of non-professional third country nationals, the Offeror is required to submit a Recruitment Plan as part of the proposal."
#6 Are the policies contemplated in file Attachment+1+-+SOW+for+Base+Camp.pdf on page 10, point 10.0 safety requirements, CCSS insurance + labor risks + civil liability the same 3-policies indicated in file 19AQMM22R0232+B-M.pdf section h3 page 25?
R/The project must be covered by (personel included on) CCSS, (personel included on) Poliza de Riesgos del Trabajo, Poliza de Responsabilidad Civil and the DBA.
#7 In Draws 02 Site_ESTRUCTURAL.pdf, in RAMP SLAB DETAIL BE3 indicates 30cm thick granular sub-grade CBR 30 min plus T=15cm GRANULAR GRAVEL CBR= 70MIN, it is possible to replace these 2 layers of 50 cm fill with 2 gabion mats in hexagonal mesh with plasticized wire type 6x8 of 60cm thickness or 50cm gabion with gabion stone? This is because the proposed base and sub-base, when submerged twice during the day, will lose all compaction, which is why a material must be used that does not soften due to the effect of water and is also confined by the coated steel mesh. with pvc that allows it to maintain the necessary geometry for the ramp, also from the point of view of workability, the project is more efficient and will guarantee the structural capacity that is required.
R/ Desing must be considered as it is for the technical proposal.
#8 8. Are the rees indicated for cutting already all cut? Do we have to take into count the cut of any?
R/Yes all tree were cut, some roots are needed to be removed.
Some prune must be considered if needed.
#9 9. On Draw 02 Site_ESTRUCTURAL.PDF ON SHEET S1.3 SHOW containers 201 and 202 as NIC and that means NOT INCLUDED IN CONTRACT, TO BE PROVIDED BY INL and the file Attachment+1+-+SOW+for+Base+Camp.pdf on page 5 stated “40ft Remodeled Containers (5 Units)” can you clarify how many 40 ft containers have to be provided by contractor?
R/ 5 containers of 40ft and 4 containers of 20ft high cube with thermal isolation.
#10 Should there be any cost of transfer, placement or repair for these containers?
R/ All costs transfer, remodeing, installation and supply must be included.
#11 In draw 02 Site_ESTRUCTURAL.pdf, sheet S1.6 in RAMP STRUCTURAL PLAN shows location of lamps, but don’t indicate exact measurements with respect to the ramp, could you clarify those locations?
R/ lamps are solar, it will be located during construction.
#12 In draws 07 Containers_ MECHANICAL_081821.pdf, in ELECTRIC SYSTEM – OFFICE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM indicates that the air conditioning equipment must be installed on the side of the double desks outside the container, but if the sheet 05 Containers_ ARCHITECTURAL_081821.pdf in SITE PLAN CONTAINERS is obsserved AREA will show that the containers are attached to the side of the double desks, so the evaporator equipment could not be placed, how should these air conditioning units be placed?
R/ Evaporaror could be placed on both side of the containers.
#13 In the draws 08 Containers_ELECTRICAL_081821.pdf there are inconsistencies with the number of air conditioners to be installed, since floor plans and cuts are shown that do not indicate equipment, how many air conditioners should be installed?
R/ 5 containers of 40ft and 4 containers of 20ft high cube with thermal isolation.
#14 In draws 07 Containers_ MECHANICAL_081821.pdf, in sheet 4 ELECTRIC SYSTEM – OFFICES AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM indicates the location of the door in a site, but if the sheet 05 Containers_ ARCHITECTURAL_081821.pdf in SITE PLAN CONTAINERS AREA is observed, the door appears in a different location, where it should Will the door finally be located?
R/ drawing 07 Containers_ MECHANICAL_081821.pdf proceeds
#15 15. In sierpe, in sow page 6, point l says that there are 4 lamps and in plans it indicates 7 (3 on the ramp and 4 in containers), Please confirm total number of lamps.
R/ 4 ramps in the containers and 2 in the ramp
#16 Sierpe, planes 07 Containers_MECHANICAL_081821.pdf indicates 2 gas tanks 100 lbs of LPG and in sow PAG 6 point n indicates 1 tank 20lb LP gas. Which should be installed? Please confirm the correct tank capacity.
R/2 gas tanks of 10lbs.
#17 Should the existing well be used for drinking water supply? R/ No.
#18 If the well is not used, what happens with the pump? R/ Water will be transported to the tank on site for storage.
#19 If the well is not used, how is the tank going to be filled? Please provide details on this? R/ Water will be transported to the tank on site for storage.
#20 If the well is not used, how is the configuration of installation of the chlorination and filtering system?
R/ No filtering system is included in the scope of the project.
#21 On the sheets comes a pipeline for gas. Must the cylinders be provided? R/ Yes.
#22 Does some type of enclosure should be built for the cylinders? R/ Yes.
#23 Which type of solenoid valve should the system have? R/ It must be according to national regulation.
#24 Acording to the roads that must be built and improve on the drawings, there not dimension of the approximated distance that must be intervene and the dimension of the width of the road to be improve. And please provide the design of the concrete pipe to build under the road. R/ The approximate distance can be verified on the DWG drawings (see S1.1). For reference, 130m of road need to be improved. This information must be validated by potential contractor.
The concrete pipe shall be a prefabricated concrete pipe, 400mm in diameter, equal or similar to C-76 from Productos de Concreto:
https://productosdeconcretocr.com/product/tuberia-con-refuerzo-c-76-copia/
