RFQ 192120VSA00000017 – Q&A

1. Is there an incumbent contractor currently performing these services, if similar services have been performed in the past, or if this is a new requirement?

Critical Hub Networks is currently performing the services at both facilities:

A dedicated fiber optic line of 1000/100 (download/upload) speeds at the SPOC 2nd Fl.

A dedicated fiber optic line of 1000/100 (download/upload) speeds at Miramar 12th Fl.

In addition to the above mentioned, a new installation of a dedicated optic line of 250/250 (download/upload) at the San Patricio Office Center 3rd Fl will be required.

2. If this is a follow-on requirement, could you please provide the previous contract or task order number?

This is a new requirement. Incumbent contractor used to be paid with the internal recurring obligation (IRO). It was determined that HSI San Juan cannot pay with the IRO and a new contract needs to be put in place.

3. Can you provide information regarding current fiber optic facilities at the following location: Capitol Building, Miramar 800 Juan Ponce de Leon Avenue, 12th Floor San Juan, 00907 Puerto Rico?

The current fiber optics facilities include a dedicated point to point fiber optic line that runs from the basement to the 12th Fl. The fiber optic line ends in a server room.

4. If no information is available, can you coordinate a site visit? No site visits.
