About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation 191NLE25Q0044, a Department of State procurement for an INL Santo Domingo 911 Camera Upgrade Phase II project. The Q&A addresses technical, administrative, and cost-related inquiries about a camera system warranty extension and proposal submission procedures. Key details include a comprehensive list of camera part numbers and quantities, with specific focus on extending warranty coverage for approximately 4,335 cameras from a previous contract (191NLE24P0122).

The solicitation requires offerors to submit proposals using an attached Excel template, with all questions due by 19 May 25. The government clarified that there will be no extended warranty, and instead, the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) procedure will change to allow for in-place destruction of defective units. Offerors are expected to coordinate directly with the manufacturer to determine pricing for the service. The procurement is being managed by the Department of State Office of Acquisition Management, with the solicitation previously posted under number 191NLE25Q3400.

How would you expect us to quote the cost of the SOW required for Annex B?No extended warranty. This will change the RMA procedure for these units from one which requires units to be returned to the manufacturer when deemed defective, to one which allows for destruction in place.
