The solicitation requests fixed-price construction services for bathroom renovation work performed in accordance with specified requirements and drawings. The contract is structured as a definite quantity contract, with the County authorized to order up to an additional 20 percent of originally specified quantities within one year of award at the same prices and terms. Vendors must submit responses electronically through BPRO by the closing date and time specified in the solicitation. The award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder based on total bid price, and vendors are required to perform at least 10 percent of the total contract price themselves without subcontracting.

Vendors must possess either a Florida State Certified General Contractor license or a Broward County Class "A" General Building Contractor license (registered with the State) at the time of submittal. This solicitation is reserved for Broward County Business Enterprise (CBE) firms, though both CBEs and non-CBEs may respond and must comply with Office of Economic and Small Business Development requirements. No prevailing wage rates, price escalation, liquidated damages provisions beyond those in the standard contract terms (BCF 170), or special funding requirements apply to this solicitation. All licensing documentation must be submitted with the vendor's response or within three business days of County request, with failure to comply potentially resulting in non-responsive classification. Vendors are strongly encouraged to submit all available documentation at time of submittal to enable timely and comprehensive review.
