JUSTICE PRISONER AND ALIEN TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM (JPATS)

IN-FLIGHT PARAMEDICS – LAS VEGAS

REQUEST FOR QUOTE # 15M300-21-Q-A370-0003

AMENDMENT 0004

a. The purpose of this Amendment is to provide the Government’s response to questions submitted concerning this requirement.

QUESTION #5: How many Federal Marshals per patient ratio?

RESPONSE: Per the Statement of Work, Para III, “In-flight medical services are anticipated to require coverage of a minimum of one to 130 inmates, for any given JPATS flight mission.” We are not part of the Federal Air Marshals program, and the ratio of our security personnel to the number of inmates onboard the aircraft is not relevant to this requirement.

QUESTION #6: Any other extra personnel on flight?

RESPONSE: The In-Flight Paramedic is responsible to provide medical services for the prisoners in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service. The number of prisoners onboard the aircraft will range between one and 130.

QUESTION #7: Patients acuity?

RESPONSE: The inmates will be fit to fly onboard the aircraft. They will be medically cleared by the JPATS Medical Team and/or the institution’s medical staff. There will not be critical/ICU inmates onboard, but some inmates may have some kind of medical condition.

b. All other terms and conditions remain the same and in full force and effect.
