Sheet1
| Question | FBI Reponse: | AMENDMENT |
| 1. The 2nd tab on the excel sheet, states there is an existing Lutron system already in place. However, I see a pdf with an Acuity design. Is the Acuity system needed as well? | Yes, the Acuity design is for the modular wiring. The modular wiring shall be utilized to not only power the lights, but also for the lighting controls cabling to each fixture. The lighting controls cabling in the modular wiring components is specified with the addition of the C12S in the part number. The C12S is not included in the PDF design, but is included in the final parts list requested under this solicatation. | No Change |
2. In relation to the question above, is it safe to assume all the Lutron material required to operate a fully functional system is already existing and all needed from our end would be the light fixtures and drivers as specified, which is already assumed to be compatible with the existing Lutron system? Yes, if all items in the solication are provided and not changed. This also includes the modular wiring. If any or equal parts are proposed then it is up to the bidder to show that everything shall be compatible to work with the existing Lutron Lighting Control System. No Change
3. It appears there may be a generator on-site or provision already made for how emergency power will be transferred to the fixtures but I would like to confirm explicitly. No EM adders will be required, correct? Correct. Emergency power will be provided by generator backup. Light fixtures do not require EM adders. No Change
4. Can you confirm the following about the reloc system. Are these being used in conjunction with a Lutron system? Yes. The RELOC modular wiring system shall be utilized to not only power the lights, but also for the lighting controls cabling to each fixture. The lighting controls cabling in the modular wiring components is specified with the addition of the C12S in the part number. The C12S is not included in the PDF design, but is included in the final parts list requested under this solicitation. No Change
5. Can you confirm the following about the reloc system. Can they be used by drivers other than the Lutron driver? The RELOC modular wiring system itself is utilized to provide power and controls cabling to each light fixture in a manner that makes future renovations less labor intense. At our facility today in different buildings RELOC is utilized with different light fixtures that have different drivers. However, if an or equal component is being proposed, deviating from the basis of design, then it is the offerors job to verify functionality with the Lutron Lighting Control System. No Change
6. As we discussed we can not provide fixtures with lutron drivers w/o having a Lutron order #. Please reference the attachment to solicitation titled, "FBI_Lutron Driver Allottment Letter" No Change
7. Is there anyway we can confirm that they Lutron System is compatible with standard 0-10v dimming drivers that dim to 1%? If an or equal component is being proposed, deviating from the basis of design, then it is the offerors job to verify functionality. No Change
8. Is it possible to get a copy of the "as built" plans for the Lutron system? Speaking with my lighting representative, the "as-builts" will have the Lutron sales order number on them, so we can purchase from Lutron. I can schedule a call with my lighting representative if that would be helpful. Thank you. As-built drawings cannot be distributed due to security reasons. However, the drawings provide a Project Number of 165278, which is the same number on the FBI_Lutron Driver Allotment Letter attachment already provided in this solicitation. On this attachment it is labeled as the Lutron Project Quote Number. No Change
