About this file

This document is a detailed technical specification for dialyzers used in hemo-dialysis for the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield, MO. The specification covers two dialyzer sizes: Large Dialyzers (F250NRe) and Small Dialyzers (F200NRe), with precise technical requirements including membrane composition (Cellouse Triacetate or polysulfone/polyethersulfone), sterilization method (Gamma Irradiation/electron beam), membrane specifications, and performance metrics such as surface area, priming volume, ultra-filtration coefficient, and clearance rates for various substances.

Delivery requirements specify that dialyzers will be shipped in cases of 12 or 24 units, with orders placed on an as-needed basis by the USMCFP Contracting Office. Deliveries must be made Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Central Time, typically within five business days of receiving a delivery order. The ordering history is based on a patient census ranging from 160 to 180 patients, with an annual requirement of 24,960 to 28,080 kidneys. The contract is anticipated to have a base year and four 12-month option years with firm fixed pricing.
