About this file
The document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Request for Quote (RFQ) 15B60925Q00000003 for Upgrade High Mast Lighting at FCI Safford. The Q&A addresses seven vendor inquiries about the project, including details about debris removal, pole height, site mapping, fixture specifications, and bidding options. Key clarifications include: the pole height is 80 feet, a site map will be added to the documents, vendors must follow the Statement of Work precisely, multiple bids are allowed if each independently complies with solicitation requirements, and a lighting survey will be required to determine foot candle needs. The Q&A emphasizes that the project involves replacing entire lighting fixtures, not just retrofitting, and the vendor is responsible for removing delivery-related debris.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
RFQ: 15B60925Q00000003 Upgrade High Mast Lighting
FCI Safford – Project 25Z6AB1
1. Can you clarify the responsibility regarding debris and packaging removal? The SOW states that the vendor is responsible for removing all debris, scrap, and packaging after delivery. However, since installation will be handled by FCI Safford Facilities staff, I wanted to confirm whether:
• The vendor’s responsibility is limited to delivering the equipment only, or
• The vendor is also expected to handle debris and packaging removal even though they are not performing the installation
Clarification: SECTION F. DELIVERY (5): The vendor shall take all their debris, scrap, and rubbish after delivery. This is regarding the delivery ONLY all excess debris, scrap, and rubbish (if any) needs to be removed by the vendor at the time of delivery.
2. What is pole height for the retro fit?
Clarification: The pole height is 80 feet.
3. Do you have a site map, and can you confirm spacing between the poles?
Clarification: A site map will be added to the documents to provide this information.
4. Would you consider an option for fixtures that do not have the field adjustable wattage selector?
Clarification: Please follow the statement of work.
5. Are you willing to accept retrofits?
Clarification: We have currently been doing the retrofit and are looking to replace the entire fixture including housing.
6. Would you accept multi bids? We work with over 100 different lighting manufactures and want to offer different options just in case they would be better overall in performance and lifetime.
Clarification: If bidding different options each bid should independently comply with the requirements of the solicitation and the Statement of Work.
7. Do you happen to know they require foot candles needed? Just want to make sure we are offering the correct lumen packages.
Clarification: No that's why we are requiring a lighting survey.
7. Can you confirm the facility area that requires illumination?
Clarification: A site map will be added to the documents to provide this information.
