Dear Quoter:

This solicitation package has been prepared by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, for the removal and replacement of the fire alarm system at FMC Fort Worth with a Gamewell system per the Statement of Work. This solicitation contains all the necessary information for submitting a quote for evaluation.

In submitting quotes, offerors should consider all information provided herein. Please carefully follow all instructions located in the solicitation package concerning the content, format and submission of proposals.

All potential offerors are advised that this solicitation includes the clause FAR 52.212-4 for Commercial Items which at, paragraph (t) requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government to be registered in the SAM database. Quoters should include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number in their quotes. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the SAM database prior to award by entering the potential awardee’s DUNS number into the SAM database. Failure to complete the registration procedures outlined in this clause may result in elimination from consideration for award.

A pre-bid conference and site visit are scheduled for October 9, 2018 at 9:00 A.M. local time, at the FMC Ft Worth, 3150 Horton Road, Fort Worth, Tx 76119. Attendance is not mandatory, however is strongly encouraged. NCIC background checks will be required for all attendees. The authorization for release of information (Form BP- A0660 NCIC Check, attached) shall be completed for each attendee and sent to Paul Robertson, p1robertson@bop.gov by 9:00 am local time on October 3, 2018. The forms must include a cover letter indicating they are for the Replace Fire Alarm System:

• Company name and list of individuals from the company who will be attending.

• Phone number/point of contact for the company for notification of any NCICs that are denied.

Please follow up with Mr. Paul Robertson, 817-413-3165. All contractors approved to enter the institution for the pre-bid meeting must bring a photo ID and your license plate number. The following are not allowed: Weapons (including pocket knives), cell phones, blackberries, pagers, radios, cameras, drugs, and alcohol. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time for security procedures.

Quotes shall be received on or before October 25, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.

Quotes received after the deadline will be handled in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f). Quotes are to be emailed in .pdf format only sent to tfronk@bop.gov and will be deemed received at the time received as indicated on the email notification. Emails rejected by filters are not the responsibility of the government.
