About this file
This document is a Delivery Schedule for a food service contract, likely for the Bureau of Prisons (BOP). All awarded items must be delivered between September 21, 2026 and September 30, 2026, with no deliveries accepted after September 30, 2026. Deliveries are restricted to Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and vendors should contact the Food Service warehouse at (919) 575-5000, extension 1441 or 1058 to coordinate.
The schedule establishes specific delivery requirements that contractors must meet to maintain responsibility status for future awards. All deliveries must be palletized unless prior arrangements are approved by warehouse staff. Non-frozen, perishable foods must arrive at 34–40 degrees Fahrenheit, and frozen foods at 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below; products showing signs of prior thawing will be refused. All items must comply strictly with BOP National Menu Specifications, which contractors are responsible for obtaining prior to quoting. Certified Religious Diet Items must be clearly marked. The Government reserves the right to conditionally receive items for up to three days for inspection and testing, including thawing and cooking as needed. Non-compliant items will be refused, and conditionally received items found unacceptable must be picked up by the vendor at their expense within two weeks of notification; unclaimed products will be properly disposed of. Contractors failing to meet delivery schedules without excusable delays or specification compliance may face removal from future solicitations and negative past performance ratings.
