About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for the FCC Butner interior flooring system repair project. The document addresses five key inquiries regarding labor requirements, budgeting, scheduling, security clearances, and site visit attendance.
There are no union labor requirements for this project. Offerors must submit cost proposals based on fair market value and industry standard practices without reference to a government-provided budget or cost range. The contractor must begin performance within 10 calendar days of receiving the notice to proceed and complete all work within 91 calendar days, though early completion is permissible and viewed favorably. Personnel attending the June 23rd site visit must submit NCIC/security background forms (BP-A0660) by June 17th, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. EST, with submissions indicating the represented company or subcontractor and the number of participants. Site visit attendance on June 23rd is optional but strongly encouraged; it is not mandatory to submit a responsive proposal.
