About this file

This document is a Delivery Schedule for a Bureau of Prisons (BOP) food service contract. All awarded items must be delivered between July 20, 2026, and July 31, 2026, with deliveries accepted only Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The Food Service warehouse can be contacted at (919) 575-5000, extension 1441 or 1058. Contractors who fail to meet delivery schedules without excusable delay or fail to conform to contract specifications will have their past performance negatively affected, potentially resulting in removal from future solicitations and a finding of non-responsibility for future awards.

Delivery requirements mandate that all items be palletized unless prior arrangements are made with warehouse staff. Non-frozen perishable foods must arrive at 34–40 degrees Fahrenheit, while frozen foods must be delivered at 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below; any product showing signs of prior thawing will be refused. All Certified Religious Diet Items must be properly marked. All items must strictly comply with BOP National Menu Specifications, which contractors are responsible for obtaining prior to quoting. The Government will closely inspect all items, which may require thawing and cooking to verify specification compliance. Receipt of delivery may be conditional for three days to allow adequate examination and testing. Items failing to meet specifications will be refused, and conditionally received items found unacceptable must be picked up by the vendor at their own expense within two weeks of notification; unpicked items will be properly disposed after two weeks.
