About this file
This document is a Delivery Schedule for a meat products contract with the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) for the Federal Correctional Complex Butner in North Carolina. The delivery window is strictly defined as July 21-31, 2025, with deliveries accepted only Monday through Friday between 7:30 am and 2:00 pm. Detailed requirements include palletized deliveries, specific temperature controls for non-frozen (34-40 degrees F) and frozen foods (0 degrees F or below), and mandatory compliance with BOP National Menu Specifications.
Critical vendor requirements specify that all Certified Religious Diet Items must be properly marked, and all items will undergo rigorous inspection, potentially including thawing and cooking tests. Vendors face significant consequences for non-compliance, including potential removal from future solicitations, mandatory product pickup at vendor expense, and negative past performance documentation that could impact future contract awards. The solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside with a NAICS code of 311612, targeting businesses with up to 1,000 employees, with the solicitation to be released on June 4, 2025, and responses due by June 11, 2025, at 8:00 am EST through SAM.gov.
