Request for Proposal 15B10020R00000001 Architect and Engineering Supplemental Services BOP Mid‐Atlantic Regional Office Request for Information #2 (9/1/2020) Question 1:

Does the FBOP have a list of the possible projects planned under this contract? And/or the projects that came out from the previous contracts? I would like to get an idea of the type of work that potentially will be involved so we can select the correct projects for our 330 form since we are limited to 5 under the resumes and 10 for the entire team to highlight.

BOP Response: Clarification There is no listing of possible projects planned under the forthcoming contracts. The projects prioritized are dependent on the needs of our institutions.

The following is an example of projects completed during the tenure of the current A&E contracts: Replace Transformer; Automatic Power Transfer; Investigate SHU Wall Crack; A/E Replace Generator ‐ Phase II; Investigate Food Service Boiler; Investigate Floor Crack; A/E Repair Warehouse Column; Investigate Sewer; Investigate Storm Damage;

A/E Repair Generator #2 Switchgear; A/E Multi‐Purpose Building ‐ Phase III; Investigate Soil Contamination; Investigate Steel Corrosion;

A/E Temporary Food Service; A/E New Food Service Building; A/E Linear Accelerator; Investigate Fire Main.

Question 2:

It is noted in the presolicitation that the selection of firm(s) will be limited geographically to those located within a 50‐mile radius of the MXRO located in Annapolis Junction, MD. Does this only apply to the prime firm submitting, or does it also apply to every sub‐ consultant on the full team?

BOP Response: Clarification The BOP will have privity of contract with the prime contractor and not the subcontractors. Therefore, the prime contractor is the only firm that is required to be located within a 50 mile radius of the MXRO in Annapolis Junction, MD.
