About this file
This document is a set of Questions and Answers for a Hotel Lodging Accommodations solicitation issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). The solicitation seeks multiple hotel contracts to provide lodging for training programs, with key details including: multiple awards will be made, third-party travel management companies can respond, rooms are needed for up to 50 people per class on both weekdays and weekends, and there's a preference for hotels near Redstone Arsenal in Alabama. The solicitation is a recompete of existing contracts with a not-to-exceed value of $7M, and while it's posted as a partial small business set-aside, large businesses can still be awarded.
Critical requirements include: hotels must be able to accommodate classes with conference rooms for 36 individuals, potentially include K9 handler rooms, provide federal tax exemption forms, and work with ATF point of contact six weeks prior to class start dates for room planning. Invoicing will be per task order using IPP (Invoice Processing Platform), with per diem rates to be determined by Federal Travel Regulation (FTR). Preferred but not mandatory amenities include in-room safes, and hotels will be selected based on technical acceptability, with ATF reserving the right to award as few or as many contracts as deemed appropriate.
