About this file
This Statement of Objectives (SOO) details the Bureau of Reclamation's requirements for preparing the 2620 wing of Building 56 at the Denver Federal Center for employee occupancy during renovation of the adjacent 2700 wing. The contractor must develop a comprehensive plan to inventory, transport, and configure approximately 30 Herman Miller Ethospace workstations from Building 41 to create a new office layout for 33 cubicles in a 6,600 square foot space, with a 60-day performance period.
Key performance objectives include conducting a furniture inventory, transporting workstations using available docks and freight elevator, creating a design layout, disposing of unused furniture, and managing infrastructure coordination. This includes removing abandoned network cabling, repositioning cable bundles, and collaborating with Bureau of Reclamation IT. Contractors must comply with operating constraints such as completing federal background checks, obtaining proper building access badges, working during business hours (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM), and providing employee identification for on-site access.
