About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document (Attachment B) from Amendment 0002 to the MTE Mobile Crane Support Service contract (140R6026Q0102). The document addresses contractor inquiries regarding lift plan requirements for two primary tasks.
Q12 and A12 clarify that the contractor shall provide a single lift plan incorporating all requirements for lifting bulkhead segments (stoplogs) at the Mt Elbert Forebay Inlet-Outlet structure, transporting them to the Government storage yard, and unloading/staging activities at that location. The contractor is not required to prepare a separate lift plan for activities occurring after arrival at the storage yard, as the revised Performance Work Statement for Task 1 specifies that Government personnel will handle subsequent operations. Q13 and A13 confirm that for Task 2, the contractor may consolidate loading, transportation, and restaging activities into a single lift plan, eliminating the need for separate lift plans for loading test weights at the outdoor storage yard, transporting them to the powerhouse, returning them, and final restaging.
