About this file

This document is a set of questions and answers related to a solicitation for the replacement of Influent Pump #1 at the Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel Water Treatment Plant (Leadville WTP) operated by the Bureau of Reclamation. The new pump is to be provided by the contractor, not the government. A site visit may be scheduled to coordinate the work. Startup and commissioning of the new pump will be coordinated between the contractor and plant staff. The existing pump baseplate will be used, and the new pump needs to connect to the existing 8-inch discharge piping. Painting of the new pump base is required prior to installation. The solicitation number is 140R6024Q0100, and responses are due by 26 August 2024. The Bureau of Reclamation, a civilian agency within the Department of the Interior, is seeking these contractor services.
