About this file
This document is an Amendment (Amendment 0002) to a federal solicitation for a Mobile Office Unit issued by the Bureau of Reclamation's Upper Colorado Region. The amendment provides clarifying questions and answers regarding specific technical requirements for the mobile office unit. Key details include confirmation that a 1-ton Bard HVAC unit with 12,000 BTU cooling and 8KW heat strip will be acceptable, provided it meets salient characteristics and industry standards. The supplier will be responsible for generator setup, with the generator serving as the primary power source and placed on a pad located away from the office to minimize noise disturbance.
The solicitation (140R4025Q0079) is for a mobile office unit, with the amendment dated 07/18/2025. The Bureau of Reclamation will be responsible for creating the generator pad, while the supplier handles generator placement and setup. The power configuration will rely on a generator as the main electricity source, with specific considerations for HVAC equipment and noise mitigation detailed in the questions and answers section.
