Text version
Estimated Quantity:
The estimated annual quantity of 4,000 gallons is correct. This estimate is based on historical usage at the Navajo Dam facility and reflects anticipated needs over a 12-month period. We understand this is less than a full transport load. Deliveries will typically be scheduled on an as-needed basis throughout the year rather than in a single bulk shipment. The Government typically contacting the contractor approximately one week in advance to schedule each delivery.
Delivery Method:
Propane deliveries are required via bulk tank refill at the Government’s onsite tanks. Cylinder exchange is not part of this requirement. Deliveries will be coordinated in advance with the designated facility point of contact. The Government will provide notice about a week before each required delivery to allow sufficient time for scheduling. All deliveries must occur during normal working hours.
Total Small Business Set-Aside Certification:
This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under FAR Part 19. There is no separate certification document you must submit with your quote other than:
• Self-certification that your firm qualifies as a small business under the applicable NAICS code (in this case, NAICS 324110 – Petroleum Refineries or the designated code as listed in the solicitation).
• Registration in SAM.gov reflecting your small business status. If you are already registered in SAM and your profile indicates small business eligibility, no additional certification is needed beyond your representation in the System for Award Management (SAM).
The propane delivery point:
Navajo Dam Powerplant Maintenance Yard, where the Government-owned bulk propane tank is situated.
The address is as follows:
Bureau of Reclamation Navajo Dam Powerplant Maintenance Yard 1281 Hwy 511 Navajo Dam, NM 87419
Please note:
• The tank is located within the fenced maintenance yard area.
• The facility is accessible by standard propane delivery trucks via the main entrance.
• Deliveries must be coordinated in advance with the designated facility point of contact to ensure access through the security gate.
• Deliveries may only occur during normal working hours (Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays).
